She was the first player in Big 12 history to record 1,000 career points, 900 career rebounds and 800 career assists. Lehning was the eighth guard in school history to register 200 points in every season of her career and her final career point total was the 11th-highest by a guard in school history."

3/19/15  WNIT: Cats 86, Akron 68
What a fun night! You could see during the shootaround that the Cats (19-13) were happy to be in postseason play. The 10-0 start was encouraging, and 50 Cats points at halftime (from 60% on field goals) was even better. Haley Texada went nuts and scored a career-high 30 points. Here's the official recap.

Next up for Kansas State: Missouri, Sunday, March 22 at 2 P.M. in Bramlage Coliseum.

3/16/15  Cats return to the WNIT

2/25/15  Kansas State records a regular season sweep of the Squawks
Senior Haley Texada led the Cats with 20 points and some critical shots. Ashia Woods had 12 points and six spectacular steals. Kindred Wesemann added 10 points. Jessica Sheble had nine points and nine rebounds in 16 minutes. With the Cats shooting only 28% from the field, defense and 17 steals sealed the deal. Ashia and Haley had some amazing plays, and for the second straight year, the Cats beat KU in Frog Allen Field House. (Kansas State Collegian) (Sports Information)

2/04/15  Kindred Wesemann tosses up 8 threes / Cats 66, Texas 57
Kindred tossed in eight 3s (8 of 11, 72.7%) and a free throw for 25 points in an impressive win over #20 Texas. Fans there will remember her performance for a long time! While the Cats together hit 38% from the field (and 38% on 3-pointers), they had an excellent defensive performance. I especially enjoyed their 10 steals. Robert Lipson sat by me for a while, and I asked him what his pet name was for the Longhorns. "Mad Cows" was the answer.
1/11/15  Wildcats come from behind to beat KU
After falling behind 6-20 in the first half, the Cats clawed their way back to defeat KU 58-52. This follows a glorious 76-68 defeat of KU on their court on 2/26/14. (Collegian) (Sports Information) The Cats are now 11-3. This is significant because we won only 11 games last season. Let's stay with our winning ways vs. the Squawks.
